Ecclesiastes 3:1

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven (NIV)

This time ,your present time, your NOW, is not a coincidental time.

In this very moment, everything is for a reason and, or can be used for a great purpose.

Nothing is a waste in the sight and hand of God , if it’s given to him.

To time this writing, it’s the year 2020. It is the month of January almost coming to an end. One event a lot of people will remember recently is, the tragic death of Kobe Bryant (41 yrs old )  , his daughter Gianna (13 years old) and 7 others that lost their lives in a helicopter accident . At the same time this occurred in California, on the other side of the world ,specifically in China, there have been many lives lost due to the Corina Virus. More than a thousand lives and still counting .

Everyday lives are lost for different reasons. Everyday time is given to all . Everyday time has ran out for someone. It doesn’t matter how old they are and who they are.

Time, Numbers is a reality of our lives. When we are born, Time has began . Numbers are written, whether it’s the time and, or date. When we die , it’s a certain time and day. There are numbers of days assigned to us . We don’t have a choice and say on the time and day of our birth and death under normal and natural circumstances. What we have the choice, the power, the control, the freedom is what we do with the time between those numbers.

Psalm 90:12

teach us to number our days aright that we may gain a heart of wisdom. (NIV)

teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are ; help us to spend them as we should.  ( living bible)

If this is our heart’s desire, prayer, request , God answers. He gives you help . He left help for us. The help is

1. Through his word – Psalm 119:105 your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path . (NIV)

2. A lesson of prayer, in his word, we see prayer as a weapon . We can see the power and impact of prayer in both the Old  and New Testament . Jesus himself taught his disciples to pray read Luke 11.  After Jesus , the apostle Paul encourages us

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, PRAY without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you  (ESV)

1. His Holy Spirit. The ultimate helper- the help you and I can’t do without.

John 14:26  But the advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the father will send in my name ,will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you .(NIV)

Some of the purposes of the Holy Spirit are to help, teach, comfort and remind us  of Jesus words .

1. A  New Command- Love each other – It’s all about  relationships .

John 13:34  A new command I give you : Love one another , As I have loved you , so you must love one another.

No one can make it on their own. Any successful person, team, company you can find, had help. God never intended you to walk this life all by yourself .

5: Peace

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you , my peace I give you . I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (NIV)

He doesn’t say there won’t be trouble, in fact in John 16:33 he says he has told us these things ,so in him we may have peace. In this world , you will have trouble, BUT take heart , I have overcome the world. In other words Jesus is saying to you, Therefore Or likewise in me , in my peace , you can also overcome whatever trouble you will or may have in this world. Trouble which is temporary, for a limited time.

Now I know , we are all not in the same season or have the same time, but no matter what is your allotted and assigned time, look to God. Give it to God. We can’t do anything about time in the past, time we don’t have, whether past or future. However , in your present time, I encourage you, God wants to encourage you to seek him NOW.

1 Chronicles 16:11     Seek the Lord; yes, seek his strength And seek his face untiringly. ( TLB)

In coming to a close Ecclesiastes says it best .

Ecclesiastes 12: 13 Here is my final conclusion: fear God and obey his commandments, for this is the entire duty of man. ¹⁴ For God will judge us for everything we do, including every hidden thing, good or bad. (TLB)

Know this, this is GOOD NEWS because we have JESUS. Let’s remember that we have HOPE, because he left us with help like the five I mentioned.

Today be encourage God does not leave you alone and without support.

As you make the first step or it’s your million step God gives you help .
