Do you need to know that God is with you today. Well I hope this verses have reassured you that he is whether you feel it, think it or doubt it.
I pray you know that he promises in
Hebrews 13:5 NEVER will I leave you or forsake you . Before that he says to not love money but be content with what you have. So I wonder if our doubts if he is with us at times is because we are not content ,or about money, check yourself , where are you in that ?
We all need to do that from time to time. It’s easy to become discontented and it does not have to be about money but sometimes the concern about money sneaks up on us without realizing and we stress, want more , hold on to tight to it, spend too much etc. We can treat money at times like some of us treat our bodies . We can have a yoyo diet kind of relationship.
Living on a roller coaster ride, happy if we have it, not happy when we don’t , at peace when we have it , worried , fearful, angry, when we don’t. I’m sure if not you, but someone else you know lives this way. We know it destroys relationships, communities, nations and individuals when we don’t have a proper perspective of its use. Money is not just money to people its more. Your money reveals your heart. It reveals your concern, priorities, fear, love, diligence, kindness, selfishness, greed, generosity, foolishness, stupidity, wisdom, knowledge, in essence it reveals YOU .
Take your pic of favorite or preferred verse I love them all ,especially Zephaniah where it says God will rejoice over me with singing.
Talk about the ultimate and highest serenade God rejoicing over me with singing! I love that. However He must be my first love not money, yes perhaps you may be thinking I don’t have a problem with money. I’m wise, kind , generous, etc. Well thank God for you, keep praying to stay that way . My encouragement and challenge to you then is help someone else . Usually from personal experience I have learned that when I have a strength in an area that means 2 things for me. One God is calling me higher to grow even more in that and the other it’s to help someone else. So if you are good by yourself with the use of your money but don’t help someone else when you see the need ,your money is revealing your need to still grow. Whatever God puts on your heart to do , trust him and do it.
Mathew 6:24 and Luke 16:13 both give us warning
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other ,or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other .You cannot serve both God and Money.
We are all choosing one whether we realize it or not, when you are stress about it, focus on it, getting it just for yourself etc, I don’t always think about it but it my be a good idea to once in awhile check myself, I can ask myself Who do I love? Who is my master? Where is my devotion? If I say Jesus then why I’M I worried or fearful?
We all need money but we don’t need to worry about it if we believe God is with us. I know this is for someone right now because the last thing I would have thought of writing about is money. I just wanted to encourage you and tell you God is with you and this happened ! So please hear this I don’t know if you have a lot of money, little money or no money, it does not matter to God. He can take care of you , of ALL your needs. AND he does not need any money. Remember Jesus made money appear out of a fish to pay his taxes and Peter’s taxers! Mathew 17: 27 . Do you think he can’t do the same for you, he may use a cow, your shoe, or your dog to bring you money ! I don’t know ! Lets ask God to atleast help us have mustard seed faith in him.
With God all things are possible Mathew 19: 26. the key words WITH GOD .
God is with you SO be with him! and your need will be met and he won’t need money. We need God first not money. love ya in christ have a great day, night, and week.
