2corinthians 7:9
yet now I am happy, not because you were made sorry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us.
Have you ever neglected, ignored, abandoned, left someone great you cared a lot about? Have you not giving quality time to someone that is always good to you and deserves your time.
If the answer is yes, there is a way to make amends, start acknowledging by saying sorry. We all make mistakes because no one is perfect . Sorry to bust your bubble if that was your perception of yourself . You are still loved though. Today I’m saying sorry to God cause he has not been my first priority. Yes, he has been on my mind, and I’ve prayed but I have not spent the time with him he desires and I had thought to do.
It’s good to know when you are being thought of but it’s not the same as spending time together. Especially if you can spend time but choose someone or something else first.
I’m so grateful he loves me more than I love him. He is so patient, forgiving and forgetful .
Hebrews 8:12 says he will forgive my wickedness and remember my sins no more. I say “Hallelujahs to that !” Instead of saying “I’ll drink to that”, lol, since drinking is not my thing , personally I thank God for that grace.
God waits on me. Did you know he waits on you. We are so special to him , that he takes his time on us , does not force us. Jesus is a gentle man always. He meets us where we are at . However once you truly meet him, get acquainted with him, you will wanna run to him. That’s why I’m sorry that my flawed self can ignore perfection and the best thing that has ever happened to me.
I am sorry and will repent . I am not going to give up trying to keep him as my first priority because he never gives up on me . So today if you have not made the important ones in your life feel your love or know your love , it’s not over yet.
I love you Jesus and I want to be with you. I pray that I won’t ever forget who loved me first. Life is worth living if you are in it. Whenever I hear the song midnight train to Georgia by Gladys Knight I always think about you and sing the chorus to you where it says I rather live in his world than live without him in mine. That is how I feel about you my God, my Jesus . I rather live in your world than live without you in mine . And now whoever reads this knows too and I don’t care. I love you and I don’t care who knows. I love you and I don’t care who doesn’t like it. I love you and I don’t care who doesn’t believe me. I love you and you love me .
