O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies!

I had this saying I came up with I believe since I was a kid.
I never really talked about it or shared it . I thought to myself as a way to protect myself . I used to say ‘promises are meant to be broken.’ I don’t remember the age I started to say this to myself and actually believed it to be true . However , even today I don’t personally like to say I promise .
God is working on me to trust him and his promises. How are you doing with God’s promises? Do you even know that he makes promises in his word ?
Well he does , I even looked up some and yep the word promise is even used . I may not know everything about God but one thing I’ve come to know is he is faithful.
Faithfulness is a promise and so far I’ve come to live long enough to see him keep that.
I don’t believe I would be alive if he was not a faithful God. He is good and I’ve seen that promise too , he has been so good to me.
He is faithful ,it’s not something he has to practice or become. It’s Gods DNA so to speak!
I guess if you want, please accept me as a witness of his character , not that he needs me , but Incase you were trying to check him out and needed some references.
I’ve had times when he has given me provisions just when I didn’t know how I would receive it. Passing exams in school when I could have failed. Praying specific prayers and see them come to life. His Holy Spirit putting right words in my mouth when I needed to speak . Him opening doors that no one else could have opened. Healing come to me and literally saving my life when I thought the end was near.
I’m not perfect so I am for sure most grateful for his faithfulness to cover me with his grace. How about you, did you ever consider the faithfulness of his grace , he gives you daily ?
Anything good that I have in my life , I know exist because of his faithfulness. He is faithful to me even when I’m not faithful to him. How much he loves me and you . I can tell you his faithful love is for always and for all generations.

Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Psalm 37:3 (NKJV)

“The dark darkness is not the end.” Wow. That’s a powerful statement. One born purely from faith and experience. Perhaps it is such experiences that help us to see a bit more clearly the grace and mercy that is always present.
